Position Description
The Sales Representative will be responsible for all sales activities relative to current and incoming inventory of commercial aircraft parts. Establish positive and long-term sales relationships with customers while performing directed activities designed to achieve sales and revenue.
Skills & Responsibilities
· Grow customer relationships with identified airlines, MROs and OEMs
· Analyze customer requirements and RFQ’s, create proposals, quote prices and negotiate pricing within company pricing guidelines
· Maintain and develop long-term beneficial relationships with current and potential customers; create and execute a plan to bring new customers to the company
· Develop sales leads in the industry, follow-up on sales leads and turn them into invoiced sales
· Remain current with aftermarket industry to recognize issues and trends and then take action to increase business through applicable lead generation
· Identify brokering opportunities that require repair/overhaul investment to maximize financial returns
· Assist with answering ILS calls and quote stock items at a fair market value
· Process all sales orders, no quotes, RMA’s and drop ships
· Support business in meeting monthly sales objectives in accordance with sales plan
· Represent the company through trade shows, phone calls, emails, and participation in industry organizations as requested
Required Education & Experience
· 2 Years’ experience in related field
· Maintains an established customer base, preferably directly with airlines, MRO’s and OEMs
· Knowledge of airframe and engine components with emphasis in the aviation environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Proficient in the utilization of the Inventory Locator System
· Thorough knowledge of the Illustrated Parts Catalog
· Experience with SAP a plus
