Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of office management within a healthcare setting. This role is crucial in ensuring that our office runs smoothly, providing exceptional support to providers, staff, and patients. The Medical Office Manager will be responsible for managing administrative functions, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the medical office, ensuring efficient workflow and patient care.
- Supervise and manage office staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Implement and maintain office systems to enhance productivity and patient satisfaction.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in acute care and critical care settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient services.
- Protect and maintain accurate patient records (physical and electronic).
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management within a medical or dental setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical and clinical workflows, as well as utilization management practices.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with fiscal management principles in a healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in using medical office systems and software. (Epic preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
