Position Summary
The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for our products. This includes market research, product positioning, competitive analysis, and creating compelling marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the product life cycle, from development to launch, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Analyze market data to develop insights and make recommendations for product development and marketing strategies
- Develop and articulate clear and compelling product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that differentiates our products in the market
- Create and maintain product marketing collateral, including datasheets, brochures, presentations, and case studies
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for product launches, including timelines, marketing tactics, and sales enablement
- Collaborate with product management, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful product launches
- Provide sales teams with the tools and training they need to effectively sell our products
- Develop sales enablement materials such as product guides, battle cards, and competitive analysis
- Create high-quality content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and blogs
- Ensure all content is consistent with brand messaging and product positioning
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and adoption
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired results
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, testimonials, and case studies
- Develop customer success stories and leverage them in marketing materials
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in product marketing preferred
- Strong understanding of market research techniques, data analysis, and product lifecycle management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful go-to-market strategies
- Experience creating compelling marketing content and sales enablement materials
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools and CRM software
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
