Stress Engineer Job Description :
- Perform Static, fatigue and dynamic stress analysis for Aero structures
- Experience in Fleet Support (Preparing repair schemes, performing static & fatigue analysis)
- Use of classical hand calculation approach to analyze both primary and secondary structures
- Repair knowledge, selection of failure criteria
- Experience in metallic and composite structures / components.
- Use of Finite Element Methods for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problems
- Participate in review meetings with Client, Customer and Suppliers.
- Engineering Stress report generation and review.
- Interact with customer; prepare Scope of Work, laydown the execution methodology to ensure that the projects executed meet the customer requirements. Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge Stress analysis of Aero structures, Nacelle and EBU systems. Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
- Hands-on experience of using Boeing Tools, Boeing Design Manuals
- Fleet Support Experience – Boeing
- Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 26
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
- Experienced in PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP, Canvas
- Experience in MRB and SRM
- Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia
- Ability to excel in a hybrid virtual / on-site environment in a highly dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere.
