Vast is looking for a Receiving Quality Inspector , reporting to the Senior Vice President of Quality and Supply Chain , to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Long Beach location.
Responsibilities :
- Performs dimensional and visual inspections using basic equipment and established procedures with minimum supervision of a higher inspector or supervisor
- Review all supplied documentation for hardware acceptance per engineering requirements and document, track, and complete discrepancy reports
- Perform review of first articles and conduct receiving inspections
- Provide feedback to engineers and buyers with dimensional data
- Assist with maintaining and tracking all inspection equipment calibrations
- Generate and perform Verification activities on Non-Conforming Material Reports
