Position Summary
The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, supporting project execution, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions. The candidate must be comfortable working in an international environment and traveling up to 30% of the time.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear project documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process flows, and functional specifications.
• Support the PMO in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and feasibility studies for new initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements-gathering sessions in both English and Italian.
• Act as a liaison between business teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure successful project implementation.
• Assist in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting metrics to track project success.
• Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Travel internationally as needed (up to 30%) to support global project initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or maritime industry.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in business process modeling and workflow analysis.
• Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) is required.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Experience working with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.
