Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director (HRD) to lead the People Services function at our 137-bed facility, supporting over 500 employees. As a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, the HRD will drive initiatives that align with organizational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
The HRD will oversee all aspects of human resources operations, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation management, performance management, policy development, and training. This role provides leadership to a team of HR professionals and reports directly to the hospital CEO, with additional guidance from the Lifepoint Division HRD.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support hospital objectives.
- Lead and manage all HR functions, ensuring legal compliance and best practices in recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning processes.
- Lead the performance evaluation and compensation review process.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
- Manage and mentor a team of HR professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 1–3 years of human resources experience in a hospital or medical management setting required.
- 1–2 years of supervisory experience required.
