Vaughn Industries, LLC is looking for a HVAC Service Manager to join our team working out of the Carey or Lewis Center office.
This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to delivering outstanding service!
The HVAC Service Manager will lead a team of service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional performance and customer satisfaction relating to maintenance, repairs, and installations of HVAC systems. The Service Manager is responsible for leading the department through safe, efficient, economical (at or below budget) and quality operations of each job or project. The Service Manager is also responsible for providing the leadership and direction to sustain the department’s growth within the framework of the budget and long-range goal, seeking new opportunities to expand basic services to existing profitable clients and add new customers. This includes negotiations concerning new services and alliances with other subcontractors, concentrating on forward planning, job and personnel management and bidding.
Duties will include:
- Schedule, coordinate, supervise and manage the work of assigned staff
- Provide technical support and guidance to the service department, assisting with complex diagnostics and repairs when necessary
- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and standards to optimize performance and customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and best practices to ensure the highest level of service quality and efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers addressing their concerns and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels; implement strategies to enhance customer experience
- Estimate projects by preparing accurate take off of materials, labor, and equipment
- Build and maintain the Work Order program within software program
- Coordinates with the Division Manager before the startup of the project or job
- Guarantees management that all activity will be in compliance with the laws and statutes of the various governmental agencies
- Coordinates and schedules project installations with site contractors, other trades, and subcontractors
- Ensures adequate/qualified personnel for the project; ensures all materials and equipment are on site as needed to prevent down time
- Attend meetings and/or training as required
- Responsible for completing and submitting daily and weekly reports
