What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk and Call Center Manager position at Vaught Eye Associates?
We are a high volume private Optometry practice located in downtown Conway. We are searching for a friendly and enthusiastic Front Desk/Call Center manager who will provide great management skills while ensuring staff receive the best support and patients receive the utmost quality of care. Optometric and management experience is ideal. Must have at least 3 years experience in a healthcare setting and must have experience verifying medical insurances. You must be able to multi-task, be reliable, professional, offer quality control, delegate, report to business owners and have a friendly and professional personality. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Hiring and training staff
- Open and close shifts (alternated with other managers)
- Work 1-2 Saturday(s) per month (4 hour shift)
- Evaluate staff
- Develop guidelines for sufficient work activities
- Maintain sufficient patient flow
- Implement office policy and protocols
- Reporting weekly updates about department/staff to business owners
- Quality control
- Schedule routine department meetings
- Be a leader
