The Data Governance Manager will spearhead the organization's data strategy, governance, and execution, with a focus on data migration, cleansing, and archiving. This role encompasses leading the ERP archive strategy, consolidating data sources, and managing data retention policies. The manager will ensure data integrity and alignment across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the enterprise data strategy and governance framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Project Management: Oversee the resources, scope, timelines, and deliverables for all data and analytics workstream activities.
- Data Migration & Cleansing: Manage data migration and cleansing projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Archiving & Retention: Lead the Data Archive strategy, including ERP archiving, data source consolidation, and retention policy implementation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate data analysts, data owners, and migration teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring progress.
- Risk Management & Communication: Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and communicate challenges to stakeholders, providing regular status updates.
- Data Integrity & Consistency: Coordinate data owners across initiatives to maintain data consistency and integrity.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders at all levels.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Strategic understanding of how effective data management drives business functions.
- Strong data and analytics acumen, with a comprehensive understanding of enterprise-level data needs.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing scenarios and challenges.
- Expertise in identifying and communicating risks and impediments.
- Proficiency in estimating work effort and timelines.

- 10 years of experience in consulting, SAP administration, or corporate financial systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Data Governance or Data Management.
- Experience with ERP archiving, data retention, archive reporting tools, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- SAP or other relevant certifications.
