Position Summary:
We are seeking two dedicated Desktop Support specialists to help ensure the smooth operation of our office’s technology systems. This role will involve supporting our internal team, maintaining the functionality of our software, and providing support to external-facing customers. The ideal candidates will have experience in the construction industry, specifically in Roof Trusses, as well as strong technical skills in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop support for internal staff and troubleshoot technical issues
- Handle 40 support tickets per week using an internal ticketing system
- Assist with the support of external-facing software for customers
- Offer timely resolutions to technical problems and escalate when necessary
- Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth tech operations for the company
- Ensure all issues are properly logged and followed up on
- Very rare on-call support required
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction industry is essential
- Strong knowledge of Roof Truss systems or related components
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Comfortable using and managing an internal ticketing system
- Technically proficient, though not responsible for debugging computers
- Ability to manage 40 support calls per week
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
