Position: Desktop Support Technician
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to join a dynamic IT team. In this role, you’ll provide both hands-on and remote technical support, ensuring end-users have reliable access to the tools and systems they need to succeed. You’ll handle everything from troubleshooting hardware and software issues to deploying new equipment and supporting daily IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely support for hardware, software, and network issues via in-person and remote channels.
- Install, configure, and update desktop systems and applications, including Windows OS and common business software.
- Image, deploy, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, ensuring seamless setup and connectivity.
- Support video conferencing systems, printers, and other essential office equipment.
- Assist in documenting IT procedures and common troubleshooting steps.
- Provide user training on email, communication tools, and basic IT best practices.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets to meet internal service expectations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and desktop applications like Office 365 and Adobe.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and experience with Active Directory and VPN connectivity.
- Hands-on experience with PC imaging, deployment, and general hardware maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- 1 years of experience in a desktop or IT support role is preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bentley products is a plus.
- Certifications such as A , ITIL, or MCP are also a bonus.
