Who we are looking for: Our Middleton hospital is seeking an energetic, compassionate representative that is motivated by providing excellent customer service to act as a goodwill ambassador for our hospital. Knowledge and experience in veterinary medicine is highly encouraged but can be supported in training for the right individual. The best candidate should have knowledge, skills and abilities in the following area:
- Excellent client service skills
- Excellent phone skills
- Computer skills preferred
- Must be friendly, outgoing and "people oriented"
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Well groomed, organized and detail oriented
- Ability to take direction and handle money accurately and honestly
- Must possess sound decision making skills and multi-task in an environment of stress.
What the role will look like: This role will be a combination of customer service and client oriented tasks associated with patient care. They will act as a liaison between clients, patient and the attending veterinarian to provide clear communication and facilitate the needs of both clients and doctor. Some of the common daily tasks include:
- Answering phones and making appointment
- Maintaining charts and computer records
- Financial transactions
- Greeting and facilitating clients needs
- General cleaning and maintenance
- Pharmacy sales
- Patient and financial updates
Schedule: Positions are available on a 1st and 2nd shift basis and do involve every other weekend and some holidays.
