Job Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Technician at VCA San Carlos Animal Hospital, you will be responsible for supporting our veterinarian teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. You will utilize your knowledge and skills to perform physical examinations and patient assessments, administer anesthesia, prepare and assist with surgeries, and provide compassionate care to our hospitalized animals.
Requirements
• Current certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
• 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and client service
