What you'll do as a Laborer
Perform construction tasks including asphalt raking, asphalt rolling, loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipmentInstall underground telecommunications cablingOperate construction equipment, and maintain work areasClearly communicate with all team membersComplete daily production reportsHelp with site restoration effortsPerform work in all weather conditionsOther duties as assignedCompletes and maintains all trainingAlways follow safety regulations, procedures, and policies in all work activitiesAll phases of underground construction include but are not limited to : Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools.Install and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling.Asphalt Raking.Screed Operator.Climb into and out of equipment. (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.)Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery : Backhoe, Jackhammer, Jumping Jack, Hole Hog, Roto Hammer, Cut-Off Saw, Portable Water Pump, Saws-All, pedestals, cables, plastic conduit, shovel, rake, sledgehammer, pipe wrench, wire cutters, bolt cutters, cable cutters, drilling shafts, etc.Working in congested or remote areas.Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons / vehicles / objects to ensure safe coordination of movement. Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman / Supervisor.Flagging, property or worksite restoration.Maintain safe working habits / conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies.What you'll need
To be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experiencePrevious experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks, is preferredWhat you'll need

Routinely : work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 poundsOccasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouseSalary Range $20 - $26 / hour (D.O.E)
