POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Manager is responsible for managing the company’s technology needs, supporting restaurant operations, and leading IT initiatives specifically but not limited to new restaurant openings. This position requires expertise in POS systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to ensure technology enhances the guest experience and operational efficiency. The IT Manager will work closely with the Development Business Resources, Operations, and Executive Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POS systems across all restaurant locations.
- Manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Work with technology vendors to source, implement, and maintain IT solutions tailored to the restaurant industry.
- Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) protection standards, safeguarding customer and business information.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and strategies to support business goals.
- Lead and mentor IT staff, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
- Represent the client in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained on a regular basis.
- Responsible for ensuring that project deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality.
- Work with the management team to understand business and operational needs and configure the POS & self-service systems to meet those needs.
- Create and update promotions, discounts, menus, tenders, etc. in the POS and Self-service applications.
- Work with Operations and/or Brand partners on the creation of new POS databases to ensure smooth store openings.
- Oversee testing and installation of new hardware and software as needed.
- Troubleshoot store hardware and software, including POS terminals, POS printers, and other POS peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems and work with POS vendors and/or third-party technicians on issues needing assistance.
- Create and deliver implementation plans, detailing the tasks that need to be completed to ensure timely installation of software systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Extensive experience with POS systems; preferably Aloha, Toast, and Clover in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of network management, cybersecurity, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Availability for occasional after-hours support and travel to restaurant locations.
- 2 years experience in the hospitality industry
- 2 years airport experience preferred
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE EQUIVALENCY: Two years of the appropriate type and level of experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
