Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ATE Test Program Developer with expertise in ATE testing and silicon qualification. The role involves developing test programs for Advantest V93K testers, defining and executing test plans, and collaborating with vendors to ensure high-quality testing hardware and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of C and/or VB programming, hands-on debugging experience, and the ability to work independently at customer locations while collaborating with design teams.
Key Responsibilities:
ATE Test Program Development
- Develop and optimize test programs for Advantest V93K testers for both wafer sort and packaged parts.
- Define and execute test plans for ATE testing and silicon qualification based on industry standards such as AEQ100 and JESD-22.
Hardware Development and Vendor Collaboration
- Collaborate with vendors to define and develop ATE load boards and probe hardware.
- Ensure the hardware setup is aligned with the testing requirements.
Testing and Debugging
- Perform characterization testing, defining test conditions, criteria, and specifications.
- Debug and resolve issues in test hardware and software, ensuring robust solutions.
- Conduct RMA analysis and continuously improve test processes.
Team Development and Project Management
- Develop team technical competencies and provide technical guidance.
- Build and manage test plans, schedules, resource requirements, and project tracking.
- Conduct product test reviews, approve test program releases, and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
Process Maintenance and Improvement
- Maintain and enhance the product test process for efficiency and reliability.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and solutions to meet evolving standards.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in ATE test program development using C and/or VB.
- Hands-on experience with Advantest V93K ATE testers for wafer sort and package testing.
- Qualified at least two silicon devices based on AEQ100 or JESD-22 standards.
- Strong knowledge of hardware development (load boards and probe cards).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including fab, packaging, and test.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in ATE test program development and debugging.
- Knowledge of hardware design and silicon qualification processes.
- Familiarity with test specifications, characterization testing, and manufacturing standards.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work independently at customer locations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and design teams.
