Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced ECAD Design Engineer with 10 years of industry expertise in PCB design and electronic hardware documentation to join our global engineering team. This role is instrumental in developing cutting-edge CT systems, ensuring accuracy in circuit board layouts and BOM creation, and driving innovation in medical diagnostic imaging solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with electrical engineers and suppliers, manage complex design projects, and contribute significantly to the overall hardware development cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Circuit Board Layout: Execute circuit board designs based on schematics provided by engineers.
- BOM Creation & Maintenance: Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) in the local database.
- Prototype Development: Collaborate with suppliers to develop and validate prototypes.
- Schematic Standards Compliance: Adhere to standard practices for schematic and design documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and ensure design accuracy.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Associate's degree in Electrical Design or related field.
- 10 years of industry experience in circuit board layout and hardware design.
- Proficiency in Cadence System Capture and Cadence Allegro
- Strong knowledge of standard schematic practices and documentation.
Nice-to-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with tools like Valor or Cadence True DFM.
- Solid understanding of circuit board design for analog, digital, and power systems, including thorough documentation.
- Familiarity with digital electronics, switches, and related components.
- Strong communication skills for effective project planning and documentation.
- Ability to multitask and manage electrical projects within a collaborative hardware team.
