Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with expertise in troubleshooting and managing Layer 2/Layer 3 Data Center (DC) network infrastructure, as well as proficiency in technologies such as Cisco SDWAN, Wireless Systems, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting complex network architectures and will possess a problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure Management:
- Troubleshoot and optimize Layer 2/Layer 3 DC network infrastructure, running Spine and Leaf ACI.
- Manage and troubleshoot network configurations using MST, RPVST, Ether-channel, Dot1Q Trunking, and Pruning.
- Cisco SDWAN and SD-ACCESS Expertise:
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco SDWAN
- Leverage knowledge of Cisco SD-ACCESS and Cisco Catalyst Center for efficient network management.
- Wireless Technologies:
- Work with wireless technologies, including WLC C9800, DNAC, LWAP, 4G CradlePoint, and Wireless Bridge.
- DDI Management:
- Manage and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM)
- SASE and Security Solutions:
- Implement and integrate SASE solutions with SDWAN, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
- Understand and review Next-Generation Firewall setups, including hands-on firewall log review.
- Traffic Monitoring & Data Flow Analysis:
- Analyze end-to-end data flows and traffic patterns using tools such as Wireshark.
- Automation and Innovation:
- Drive network automation initiatives and provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting and managing Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks running Spine and Leaf ACI.
- Proficiency in MST, RPVST, Ether-channel, Dot1Q Trunking, and Pruning.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-ACCESS, Cisco Catalyst Center, and SDWAN
- Advanced knowledge of wireless systems (WLC, DNAC, 4G CradlePoint, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of DDI services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
- Experience working with SASE solutions and integrating them with SDWAN.
- Knowledge of Next-Generation Firewalls and their log analysis.
- Familiarity with Wireshark for traffic monitoring and analysis.
