Scrum Master

Role: Scrum Master

Location : Columbia, SC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite with 2 days' work from home)

Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Familiar with Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile development methods
• Facilitate team events daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives
• Lead, and work alongside, teams of developers, Product Owners, QA staff
• May lead multiple Scrum teams.
• Guide, coach, motivate, and lead the team toward high performance and predictable results
• Evangelize Agile values and principles throughout the organization
• Encourage effective communications between team members and other teams.
• Identify and track risks, impediments, and issues affecting the team Remove or help remove impediments.
• Reporting and/or creation of Team performance and project metrics

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Scrum Master Certification
• Minimum 8 years of experience including the following:
• 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in the software development field
• 2 years of experience using Jira and Confluence
• 1 years of experience working with SharePoint
• 1 years of experience working with MS Project
• 1 years of experience working on data-centric projects (such as ETL)
• Medicaid experience
• JIRA Administrator experience
• Experience in traditional waterfall project/hybrid methodologies

• Excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, proofreading and editing skills with high degree of accuracy
