Position Overview:
As a Senior Discovery Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving strategic sales efforts to promote our technology solutions to law firms, legal departments, and litigation professionals. You will leverage your expertise in legal technology to engage potential clients, understand their discovery needs, and present tailored solutions that address their pain points. Your experience will be key in managing the entire sales lifecycle, from initial contact through to onboarding and long-term relationship building. You will also mentor and collaborate with junior team members, helping to elevate their skills while leading the charge in driving new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Lead efforts to identify and target new business opportunities within the legal and litigation support market. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at law firms and legal teams, identifying opportunities to introduce our advanced discovery solutions.
- Client Consultation and Relationship Management: Act as the subject matter expert, engaging with prospects to understand their specific needs and presenting tailored solutions using our platform. Manage client relationships throughout the sales cycle, ensuring smooth transitions from initial contact to ongoing support.
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our platform, including forensic collection, TAR, AI-driven document review, and other advanced features. Effectively communicate the technical benefits of these solutions to both legal professionals and internal teams.
- Sales Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior sales consultants, providing coaching and support to help them develop their sales skills and product knowledge.
- Client Presentations and Demos: Lead product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients, showcasing how our technology can streamline their discovery processes and provide measurable value.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, technical, and customer support teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and continued satisfaction with the platform. Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to help refine sales strategies and product offerings.
- Sales Reporting and CRM Management: Oversee the management of client data, sales activities, and progress through the CRM system. Generate reports to track sales performance and provide insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Degree: JD preferred
- Experience: 5 years of sales experience, preferably in legal technology, eDiscovery, or litigation support. Proven success in selling technology solutions to law firms, legal departments, or other relevant sectors.
- Deep Knowledge of Legal Technology: Expertise in the eDiscovery process, forensic collection, TAR, AI-driven document review, and related technologies. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, deliver compelling presentations, and clearly explain complex solutions.
- Sales Expertise: A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth in a B2B sales environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM systems and a strong comfort level with learning and adapting to new technologies and platforms.
- Leadership and Team Collaboration: Ability to lead by example, mentor junior team members, and work collaboratively across teams to achieve company goals.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client relationships and sales cycles simultaneously.
