About the Role : The Senior Consultant in Operational Due Diligence plays a pivotal role at Value Driven Solutions, steering clients through the complexities of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This critical position is geared towards providing deep operational insights and strategic guidance to our private equity clients, identifying both synergies and risks in transactions. It requires a combination of robust analytical skills and exceptional communication abilities to produce high-level deliverables and aid in client decision-making. Key Responsibilities : Lead the delivery of Operational Due Diligence services within our Operational Transaction Advisory group. Conduct thorough analyses of M&A activities, including acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and integrations. Collaborate with Private Equity clients to evaluate principal investment theses concerning operations. Discover and articulate key synergies and transaction risks, transforming analysis into practical strategies. Develop and present high-level deliverables that assist client decision-makers. Facilitate direct client interactions, both domestically and potentially abroad. Qualifications : A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A minimum of three years of experience in operations consulting or operations management is essential. Background in Corporate Development, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain functions. Capable of evaluating operations and executing enhancements for increased productivity and cost efficiency. Proficient in MS Excel, with a solid track record of developing financial models. Excellent communication skills are crucial for explaining complex concepts to a varied audience. Must be adaptable and assertive in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications : Direct experience in spearheading cost reduction initiatives is highly advantageous. Extensive knowledge in developing and interpreting financial models is favorable.
