What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Vector CSP LLC?
Job Summary:
Provide Program Management support to Government personnel and programs that support the department, division or branch activities at Naval Surface Warfare Center – Indian Head.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration
- 10 years’ experience in Program Management; experience with Naval Surface Warfare Center operation is preferred
- Experience managing complex teams of professionals providing support across multiple areas
- PMP certification preferred
Essential Duties:
- Assist in milestone planning and tracking; evaluate program schedules, track deliverables, and prepare and submit monthly status reports
- Attend meetings and reviews as directed by the Government
- Provide oversight for contract team, interface directly with internal and external clients
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to establish clear processes and identify the objectives and measures for success necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Skilled at identifying key issues, risks, problems and utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to determine project status and maintain trajectory.
