Overview :

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. Additional support for professional and operational support services is required as NSWCDD continues to provide the military with testing and certification by utilizing its Potomac River Test Range in Dahlgren, VA and provides fleet support at NSWCDD Dam Neck which is located in Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Summary :

Provide professional and operational support of Workforce Development - Training operations at NSWCDD.

Education and Experience :

  • Three (3) years of experience in administering, tracking, analyzing, reporting and recording training program participation including registrations, completions, and evaluations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Government systems used in training administration such as Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and Navy ERP

Essential Duties :

  • Conduct registrations, proctor exams, and communicate with participating institutions regarding student assignments and exams
  • Administer computer systems
  • Schedule, setup and operate training rooms, equipment, and materials
  • Provide general administrative support of training program operations
  • Distribute billet allocations, receive registrations; input participant enrollment / cancelations in on-site / mandatory training database, create class rosters, send correspondence to enrolled participants, report and maintain attendance data, and correspond with training site administration for troubleshooting.

    • Knowledge, Skill and Abilities :

  • Knowledge of Navy mandatory training and ability to communicate mandatory training requirements to Government and Contractor personnel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams applications
