Class A/B Light/Medium Automotive Technician – $3,000 Sign on Bonus

Thanks to growing business, Vector Fleet Management is currently accepting applications for qualified Technicians Class A/B to support our customer’s fleet located in the Mosaic Facility in the South Fort Meade, FL area.
Duties include repairing and maintaining customer vehicles and/or equipment components such as engines, drive train, brakes, steering of on-road or off-road equipment, and other related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND REQUIREMENTS
- Perform PMI's on all types of light/medium duty automobiles and some powered equipment including off-road equipment.
- Perform selected repairs on equipment involving components and systems listed above.
- Experience in light/medium automobile and equipment preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair.
- AC, electrical, and fuel systems experience.
- Welding experience a strong plus.
- Perform drivability and operational checks as applicable.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment including but not limited to cleaning shop equipment, floors, and fluid containment areas.
- Must possess adequate hand tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenance.
- The candidate needs to be a self-motivated leader with the ability to interact with our dedicated customer.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Must have the ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on autos/light trucks or medium trucks and equipment.
- Technicians - Technical education in a related discipline with eight (8) years of experience, or ten (10) years on the job experience that includes performing service and repair on vehicles and/or equipment components. Minimum five (5) ASE certifications or obtain within six (6) months of hire. Must achieve Vector Certified Technician within six
- Technicians must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use.
- Technicians should be familiar working with ‘standard repair time’ measurements.

- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Must pass a drug test and successfully complete a background screening.
