Job Summary: We are seeking a Buyer I to join our Purchasing Team. This position is responsible for standard purchasing tasks and as well as supporting additional office functions. Purchasing duties include daily processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders, monitoring delivery of purchased materials to meet manufacturing demands, collaborating with cross-functional team to ensure clear communication and accuracy, support new supplier onboarding process and other related duties. The successful candidate must have strong analytical and understanding of ERP systems, attention to details and effective communication to perform required job functions. This position is an on-site position based in Newark, CA, and reports to the Senior Purchasing Manager
Responsibilities:
· Perform high volume of daily purchasing related transactions
· Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company approval policies
· Building and maintaining effective communications with external vendors and internal stakeholders
· Tracking purchases and monitoring inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment
· Run open purchase order report and outline potential items at risk
· Investigate shipment and invoice discrepancies as needed
· Update supplier information in ERP system and other software such as Excel and Access
· Performs other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications (Experience, Education, Knowledge, and Skills):
· BS or BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 2 - 3 years of purchasing experience
· Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Microsoft Word and Excel Attention to details
· 3 - 5 years work experience in manufacturing environment is a plus
· Ability to accurately and efficiently follow directions

The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience, and other qualifications.
