Vector Solutions is seeking a Sales Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of software sales within the education technology industry. Working closely with our dynamic sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the Sales Development (SDR) team to identify and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Assist in developing and executing targeted sales campaigns to reach key decision-makers.
  • Engage in proactive outbound sales conversations to prospective clients.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
  • Shadow experienced sales development professionals during client meetings to observe and learn best practices.

Requirements

  • Must be a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Interest in working in Sales Development upon graduation
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for sales and technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Available to commit to a minimum of 20 hours internship duration.
  • Hybrid role that will require 2-3 days in our Tampa office.
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn lead prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Seamless, Salesforce
