Accounting Manager

Vector's manufacturing partner located in Aurora, OH, is a world leader in engineered polymer solutions that seal, damp and protect critical applications in demanding environments. They have a current opening for an Accounting Manager  to join their team.

Job Summary :

Responsible for day to day management of the accounting department and month end close.  Support Controller with the financial reporting, account reconciliations, preparation for audits, and assistance with tax pack preparation and treasury.

Responsibilities :

Coordinated conversion of Financial accounts into the consolidation of corporate reporting structure as instructed in the financial manual

Responsible for day-to-day management of accounting and completion of month-end closing, including general ledger management, journal entries, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial statements

Bank account reconciliation and daily monitoring of cash transactions

Management of overhead rates and standard costs on a quarterly basis

Assisting other departments with analysis and data as needed

Requirements :

Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting.

Experience in related job level for 5 years

Demonstrated proficiency in accounting skills

Analysis of data

Expertise in compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations and systems of internal control

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Strong understanding of a manufacturing-related ERP system

Strong Excel skills

Systematic approach to problem solving

Strong leadership

Supervisory experience, including monitoring and assessing work of his / her team, provide feedback, provide technical supervision, develop knowledge, skills, and abilities of employees and plan for and support employees in career development #IND100
