Vector Technical has partnered with a global leader in the design and application of ceramic fiber products and systems, and they are looking for an Industrial Production Associate to join their team!
Shift Information : 1st 6AM-2 : 30P
Pay : $17 / hr.
increase upon hire-in)
Role :
Repetitively lift, stage and stack materials weighing up to 50# for possibly 8 hours
Operate machinery including fork lift, welder, power tools, hand tools and crane
Manually fold fiber blanket, compress with hands
Work from elevated platforms, i.e. scaffolding, scissor lift
Participate in safety related activities such as tool-box talks, safety training, and meetings.
Wear all proper PPE including fall arrest system
Conduct workplace safety observations.
Maintain site and department housekeeping standards.
Requirements :
High School Diploma or G.E.D
Ability to follow instruction
Reliability of attendance, ability to work extended overtime as needed
Some Math required in stacking of material, counting, and the use of tape measure
Show safe work practice around the facility
