What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at VectorCSP?
VectorCSP in support of BAE is seeking a self-motivated personable Project Engineer to join our diverse engineering support services contracts.
This position is in Mount Laurel, NJ.
The qualified candidate shall perform the role and responsibilities of a Baseline Coordinator. The responsibilities include the coordination and communication of an assigned Baseline of activities to the engineering support services team and the direct government project lead. The candidate must possess the ability to articulate and communicate clear independent engineering and financial information, reports, build schedules and metrics occurring across the assigned baseline.
The qualified candidate will be required to partner and integrate with a team of engineers, technologists, and military veterans dedicated to providing independent quality assessments of development of computer programs critical to the defense of the United States and Foreign Military Sales.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include and not be limited to the following :
- The ability to articulate and provide a true and accurate account and status of technical aspects of the designated project development in a clear and concise manner to the government project lead.
- Demonstrate the ability to technically assess testing aspects conducted by the developer and or other Government agencies.
- Coordinate, plan, collaborate with the T&E, System Engineering, Logistics, Cyber, and Division for system testing events and necessary support.
- Facilitate quick communications of customer requirements and requests to the engineering support services staff.
- Provide daily communications to the Baseline Coordinator manager, and BAE of government requests and actions.
- The ability to provide timely inputs.
