What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk Analyst position at Vedder Price?
Vedder Price's Chicago office is looking for a Risk Analyst. This position will play a strategic role in overseeing the firm's Third- Party Risk Management program and risk management initiatives. The position is responsible for evaluating and conducting Risk Reviews and Assessments of existing and prospective third-party relationships and assisting with client questionnaires.
As a Risk Analyst, your duties will include but not be limited to :
- Support day to day execution of the Information Security Risk Assessment process for existing and potential vendors.
- Document, organize, and track activities that result from vendor security assessment.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ensure due diligence questionnaires are reviewed in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the third-party risk management and vendor management functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct risk awareness and training initiatives across the organization to educate employees about third-party risks, security best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist in internal audit activities of the Risk Management team, including collecting and analyzing data.
- Participate in strategic projects with cross-functional teams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Compensation Range : $70,000 / yr. to $100,000 / yr.
