Role Summary
The Administrative Assistant Senior Representative plays a key role in supporting Behavioral Operations by performing advanced administrative tasks. This includes new hire onboarding ticket submissions, manual letter creation, correspondence processing, system-generated letter requests, data entry, reception line coverage, and various administrative projects.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage tasks assigned to the NOA Requests Outlook mailbox and NOA TruCare queue.
- Handle incoming calls via the switchboard and route them to the appropriate call teams.
- Process and prepare daily system-generated and manual letters for mailing.
- Sort and organize incoming Behavioral Operations mail and packages.
- Complete additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned.
- Participate in meetings to stay updated on changes affecting the administrative team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; business school or related training preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new applications efficiently.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment when interacting with internal and external staff.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $21.18 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
