What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospital Maintenance Technician position at Veear Projects Inc.?
Duration: 8 Weeks (with potential to extend)
Job Description:
1. Education: High school graduate preferred.
2. Licensure: Must possess a valid California Driver’s License as duties include driving on client’s behalf. A clean driving record is required evidenced by annual submittal to the Property & Facilities Manager of DMV driving record.
3. Experience: 2-3 years’ experience trouble shooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems. Experience in hospitality and healthcare industries helpful.
4. Skills:
- Has basic working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel computer programs.
- Must know how to conduct internet searches.
- Familiar with hand and power tools, able to read blueprints.
- Must be able to move, lift and deliver light furniture as needed.
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical.
- Follow safety and infection control procedures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work with a variety of individual personalities and ability to adapt to changing conditions.
- Must be able to speak fluently, read and write in English.
- Can maintain confidential information.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
