An Account Executive, New Business Development is directly responsible for all revenue goals associated with developing and growing an active client base of season ticket memberships, group ticket offers, premium seating clientele and corporate business accounts for Vegas Golden Knights home games at T-Mobile Arena.

The ticket sales position will have a strong emphasis on outbound prospecting within the TV Market to build relationships and drive sales for all ticketed products within the Foley Entertainment Group, including but not limited to, group ticketing through traditional and non-traditional market segments, special ticket offers, 100 person group outings, pre-season game community offers, premium seating and suite offerings, mini-plans, partial ticket packages and full season memberships. This position will also have the opportunity to participate in sales ventures for sister teams such as the Henderson Silver Knights, Vegas Knight Hawks and Lee’s Family Forum Facility. Success in this role is achieved through an unrivaled determination to sales success, proficient cold calling and outbound prospecting, world class customer service, learning about and developing excellent relationships with accounts, and delivering creative, customized communication in a timely manner.

Please note this is a Sales and Service position, and generating new business through outbound efforts, referrals, add-ons and upgrades will be an imperative part in the success of this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate ticketing revenue through outbound prospecting efforts outside of the current buyer database
  • Establish foundation with key individuals and corporations to maximize sales revenue by building and identifying prospects, setting both virtual and face-to-face appointments, conducting arena tours, and closing sales
  • Meet and exceed ticketing revenue and FSE goals on an annual basis
  • Present oneself as the key go-to-person for active account base
  • Sell Upgrades, Add-Ons, and referrals
  • Build strong relationships with accounts through pro-active communication, including seat visits, phone calls, emails, and other touchpoints
  • Prospect new sales from lead generation platforms, personal prospecting and select internal buyer databases
  • Make a minimum of 40 outbound calls per day to new businesses and prospects 
  • Effectively communicate all team happenings, events, and available inventory
  • Be pro-active, respond to and resolve all customer complaints, requests, and inquiries from active accounts; handle difficult fans and situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Ensure ticket information and data are accurate and complete for account base
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Ability to also work home game hours, business events, nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications:
  • At least (1-2) years full-time sports, outside sales or event sales experience required 
  • Successful track record of exceeding sales goals in past positions
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in professional sports
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; self-starter
  • Passion for sales and creativity
  • Highly coachable, team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of KORE CRM, AXS or Archtics & FEVO ticketing platforms, Zoom Info, Exceed AI, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Sales or Marketing preferred
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and public speaking
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays
