Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our property management company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tenant rental payments, pay bills for properties, speak to tenants, prepare monthly reports for landlords, and deal with vendors. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in Appfolio and/or Quickbooks.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards for various properties.
- Monitor rent payments from tenants and organize.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Input new leases and tenants into Appfolio
- Pay Bills for various properties.
- Collaborate with team members.
Skills:
- Proficiency in public accounting practices is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of software such as Appfolio/ Quickbooks.
