Light Bulb Maintenance Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Bulb Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all light bulbs throughout the building are functioning properly. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying burnt-out or faulty bulbs and replacing them to maintain a well-lit, safe, and comfortable environment for all building occupants. This role will require splitting time between two nearby locations to manage lighting needs in both areas.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly inspect all light fixtures and bulbs throughout both locations.
• Replace burnt-out or malfunctioning bulbs in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper installation of bulbs to guarantee proper functionality and safety.
• Maintain an inventory of replacement bulbs and report any need for stock replenishment.
• Troubleshoot and identify potential issues related to lighting.
• Document and report any lighting-related issues that require further attention or repairs beyond bulb replacement.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure any electrical problems are addressed promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while performing tasks.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a janitorial or maintenance role is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems or light fixtures is helpful.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication skills to report issues and ensure smooth workflow.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely use ladders and other equipment to access high fixtures.
• Capable of lifting and carrying light bulbs and tools as needed.
  
  

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm (subject to change)
