- Serve as the primary contact for employees and managers on policies, programs, and compliance with employment laws.

- Oversee compensation strategies, including merit and bonus processes.

- Identify and address human capital needs, assisting leaders with execution.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance on complex employee matters.
- Administer ADA processes and oversee compliance efforts.
- Drive process improvements, innovation, and operational efficiency with the HR department.
- Provide varying levels of support implementing talent acquisition and recruitment strategies.
- Stay informed of industry trends and legislative changes.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend business strategies.
- Manage HR budgets in consultation with executive leadership, including compensation and benefits.
- Mentor and lead HR generalists to execute HR functions and develop HR skills and competencies.
- Administer the company’s HRIS platform.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- 10 years of progressive HR experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience with ADP.
- Ability to evaluate, review and update all company HR policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage and influence in a cross-functional environment coupled with a strong customer orientation to include excellent interpersonal, communication/presentation and consultative skills.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement, innovation and opportunities for efficiency and synergy.
- Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information exhibited at all times.
- Willingness to step in and assist with developing a standalone HR department and to handle all sorts of HR matters in the context of a small but growing department.
- Experience with multi-state employment & HR practices.
- Ability to work across the organization to achieve results and make decisions incorporating diverse perspectives.
- Successful history of entrepreneurial leadership, technical expertise, and developing and building a team.
- Experience in manufacturing, transportation, logistics or businesses that utilize field technicians to deliver services.
