The Janitorial Supervisor is to ensure all work areas are cleaned by cleaners to Velociti Services and client standards, be responsive to clients\' enquiries and specific requests, and communicate clients\' cleaning requests to their teams.\ \ Responsibilities \ \Duties / Responsiblities : Community CentersThe supervision of all cleaning staff focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behavior whilst on dutyMust possess excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and even in listeningMust have good interpersonal attributes. That is to say, the supervisor must be someone that gets along easily with people (easily approachable)Must be outstanding when it comes to organization and coordination of both humans and their activitiesEnsuring that a best-in-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the worksite / buildingReviewing work schedulesKeeping track of inventory, ordering of cleaning materials / supplies and equipmentMonitoring of all cleaning activitiesEnsuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and proceduresQuickly resolving disputes between staffTraining new employeesFilling in / General Cleaning as neededCommunicating with managementResolve any complaints and conflictsDiscipline and reward employeesMaintaining good relationships with customerConduct worksite inspectionsOther duties as assigned or requested\ \ Qualifications \ \Ideal Candidate ExperienceTeam player with a positive attitude and ability to maintain a positive attitude and restore morale to a teamPrevious experience in a cleaning environmentPrevious experience in managing a teamThe ability to implement and adhere to standards and proceduresThe ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of timeThe ability to process negative feedback and remain professionalAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityAttention to detailPassion for customer serviceAccountability and dependability in all that you doA strong commitment to company service valuesHigh School Graduate or higher preferredValid drivers license and MVR requiredTime management - organizing, planning, and prioritizingAbility to multi-task and change directions easilyKindness and concern for othersPhysical RequirementsApplicants for this role must be able to : Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 poundsLift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipmentsClimb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a dayStanding for extended periods of time
