Job Title: Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires a dynamic professional with expertise in commercial strategy, digital marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans that align with organizational goals.
- Identify market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to inform marketing plans.
- Understand the differences between geographies and customers to best position the brand and message effectively to distinct audiences using customer segmentation and multi-stage approach (i.e. Awareness, acquisition, and retention).
Campaign Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social, email, events, traditional media, etc.).
- Create and drive promotional content consistent with VIOC brand identity, storytelling, and creative calendar.
- Partner with franchisor marketing team to optimize online presence including SEO/SEM, social media, content marketing, and website management.
- Leverage analytics to optimize marketing performance, drive revenue and improve customer experience.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, including profit and loss projections ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Allocate resources to maximize impact and efficiency using multivariate testing
Partnerships and Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive strategies.
- Collaborate with the operations team to uncover insights for developing marketing for existing and new services.
- Cultivate relationships with internal partners and external vendors, agencies, and partners to enhance marketing efforts with a focus on resolving challenges and brainstorming possible solutions.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish clear metrics for measuring marketing success and provide regular reports to leadership.
- Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns covering SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Organic Social, Display, Email, CTV, Linear TV, Print, and OOH.
- Leverage tracking tools for campaign results, marketing research, revenue forecasts, competitor analyses, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Report on and understand key performance metrics across all marketing channels.
- Use data and analytics to present concise and clear reporting to executive team on marketing performance, statistics, and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of success. Experience in franchise setting a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and marketing technologies.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing with local and/or retail specific marketing a plus
- “Hands on keyboard” experience with digital marketing platforms (i.e. Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Bing, Meta, TradeDesk.)
- Experience with content and technical SEO and in particular, local SEO.
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with superior experience in Excel.
- Familiarity with content management, web technologies and tools. (i.e. HTML, CSS and JavaScript, WordPress, etc.).
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certification a plus.
