This position will provide comprehensive Customer Service support to the velofix Customer base and other internal leadership team members. You’ll be responsible for non-warranty work, warranty work, customer service tasks, retrofit campaign completions, team support, troubleshooting, repair, customer interaction, and general support for a large well-known OEM’s Golf Cart product line.
About the Role – You will:
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with customers and site staff daily.
- Support new vehicle launch activities
- Order parts, tools and supplies when needed utilizing company applications
- Interpret Engineering drawings and wiring schematics
- Complete retrofit campaigns.
- Repair, maintain, troubleshoot and service vehicle with tools that range from computer diagnostics to basic mechanical tools.
- Monitor sub-contractor work where needed
- Ensure proper and timely submission of expense reports
- Maintain detailed and timely work orders and associated documentation for repairs
- Possess ability to read and comprehend drawings, schematics, diagrams and work instructions.
- Complete work orders upon completion of work
- Be expected to work well when under pressure
- Communicate effectively internally regularly with Management and Field Team both verbally and writing
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

- You will report directly to the Director of Mobility Services
About You:
- Self-starter with the ability to adapt interpersonal styles and techniques to influence at all levels of the organization and external customers.

- Able to manage more than 25 customers at a time, while also meeting company deadlines.

- Understand and be able to explain basic electrical and mechanical fundamentals
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, diligent and able to operate independently with limited supervision (completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner).

- Open to traveling when needed to meet needs of the business
- Positive attitude and ability to be trainable
- Sound judgment; Good problem-solving and analytical skills (troubleshoot technical issues, communicate and document solutions to non-technical parties).

Your Experience Includes:
- 2 years’ experience of directly related work.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- General knowledge of automotive and/or UTV vehicle systems.
- Medium to expert in MS office, Apple IOS and Android applications
- Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and other related field service experience.
- Experience interacting and communicating effectively with customers.
- Good driving record demonstrating ability to safely operate a company/customer vehicle.
Physical Demands:
- May work various shifts as needed; may be requested to travel to different locations.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
- Able to walk, stand, crouch, bench, kneel, lift, carry and reach as needed in large and tight spaces.
- Good eye/hand coordination and ability to identify color variations, depth perceptions and close or distance visual items. Manual dexterity with occasional repetitive finger motion.
Environmental Demands:
- Ability to work in a Field environment with extreme heat and cold conditions.
- Wear protective clothing or respiratory protective equipment.
- Works with irritant chemicals, gases, etc.
You might also have:
- ASE or other applicable technical certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
