Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery and pick-up of packages, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service. The Courier will operate a full-size vehicle and may be required to lift up to 80pds as part of their daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive assigned vehicle, to transport packages between locations.
• Load and unload packages efficiently.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups, maintaining records of all transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with supervisor to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in route driving or courier services is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds).
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility in working hours may be required based on delivery needs.
