Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the TPS operator(s) on daily production, staging glass, and train on the TPS equipment to produce insulated panes according to production standards and plans.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist the TPS operators with equipment start, daily cleaning, and glass staging. Forklift License required.
• Work with planner(s) and coordinate/organize glass in the correct sequence for the production line.
• Must be a self-starter and disciplined to work minimum supervision.
• Perform work according to Job Instructions (J.I.’s) assigned to the position
• Ensure production, quality and safety standards are met
• Perform cleaning and maintaining of 5’s practices
• Perform other assignments as directed by local supervision

Standard Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Hourly Pay Range: $20.90 - $22.19 (Man II)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• Forklift experience is required. A forklift license is preferred
• Experience in a production environment is required
• Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position
• Understanding of metric measurement systems is required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as needed
• The desire and ability to work in a team environment demonstrated through a positive commitment to quality, safety, attendance and good work history
• Compliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations and policies provided in Employee Handbooks, on Company bulletin boards/announcements, terms/conditions of employment or other means of communication is a requirement of the job.
