Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our culinary team.
As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing sushi dishes that meet our restaurant's standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. Your expertise in meal preparation and food handling will contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Select and source high-quality ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality in all dishes served.
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of fine dining standards and practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety protocols is essential.
