VenConnect is a B2B FinTech start-up that provides a free, innovative SaaS Vendor Payable Solution to a wide variety of industries and commercial market segments across the United States. VenConnect gives commercial customers the ability to offer immediate payment to their Vendors, Subs, and/or Suppliers without impacting their cash flow or modifying their accounts payable terms.
The SVP/VP of Business Development is expected to build and expand VenConnect’s customer acquisition and revenue by driving B2B sales of VenConnect’s Vendor Payable Solution. The ideal candidate is expected to originate and maintain quality contacts to generate leads and close commercial transactions. Developing sales strategies and platforms that will include cold-calling and/or performing in-person or digital meetings. Identify client referral sources and be a leader within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Leverage an existing network of clients and contacts in VenConnect’s target markets, revenue size, and industries
- Establish and develop new client prospects through direct network marketing and cold-calling/emailing
- Have a strong working knowledge of commercial finance and demonstrated success in B2B sales
- Establish and develop sales channels
- Develop and maintain a current pipeline of commercial customers to originate new Vendor Payable facilities
- Screen clients and proposed transactions
- Present term sheets and proposals to prospective clients
- Maximize profitability on each transaction
- Gather all the required documentation to properly underwrite a credit request
- Responsible for negotiating terms and structure on facilities
- Close the sale and maintain an exceptional relationship with the customer throughout the client’s life cycle
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and energy
- Ensure compliance with all internally establish policies and procedures
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Candidate must have an extensive B2B network with a particular emphasis on manufacturing, construction, and other supply chain related industries
- 7 years in B2B sales; preferably in commercial finance but not a requirement
- Proven sales track record within our target markets and industries
- Established referral network (bankers, CPAs, etc.)
- Self-motivated and energetic driven by results
- Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced skills with the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel)
- Confidence, tact, and a professional demeanor
- Identifies critical issues with ease

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
