JOB SUMMARY
Vendador is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive revenue growth through strategic outreach to high-end venues, luxury event planners, and corporate clients. This FULL-TIME position requires a proven track record in luxury hospitality sales with demonstrated success in securing contracts and developing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have an established network in Chicago's hospitality industry and exceptional closing abilities.

The ideal candidate will have an established network in Chicago's hospitality industry and exceptional closing abilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Hospitality or F&B sales (catering, hotel, fine dining, or wine sales)
- Note to applicants: This is NOT an event management or coordinator, restaurant server, bartender, hotel receptionist or retail sales position. We are specifically seeking candidates with proven experience in luxury hospitality outbound sales, corporate catering sales, or event sales. Applicants without the required sales experience will not be considered.
- Verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets
- Demonstrated success in outbound sales strategies, including cold calling and in-person meetings
- Experience selling to corporate clients, event planners, and/or luxury venues
- Established network in Chicago's hospitality, corporate, or event planning sectors
- Excellent closing skills with proven ability to convert prospects into clients
- Superior communication abilities both written and verbal
- Organized approach to tracking leads, follow-ups, and client relationships (CRM experience required)
- Professional demeanor appropriate for luxury client interactions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns targeting high-value prospects
- Secure placement on preferred vendor lists for premium Chicago venues and planning firms
- Establish recurring catering contracts with corporate clients
- Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and building industry relationships
- Represent Vendador at industry events and networking opportunities
- Maintain detailed records of all prospecting activities in our CRM (Monday.com)
- Achieve quarterly sales targets for new client acquisition and revenue generation
- Collaborate with our culinary team to develop tailored proposals for key prospects
- Provide weekly progress reports and participate in sales strategy meetings
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Secure placement on at least 10 preferred vendor lists for high-profile venues or planning firms
- Establish 2-4 recurring weekly corporate catering contracts in Chicago
- Schedule 15 introductory meetings with planners and venue managers in the first quarter of employment
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets as established upon hiring

- Competitive base salary ($60,000, or based on experience)
