Job Summary:
The Pallet Building and Repair role is a full-time position responsible for constructing and repairing pallets. The successful candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Key duties include repairing and assembling pallets on a repair table, removing defective boards, and replacing them with new boards. Additionally, the individual must keep an inventory of pallets built and stamp eligible pallets appropriately. Proper materials must be readily available for pallet production. This includes cutting lumber to length using a Holtec saw and utilizing a pneumatic nail gun to repair or assemble pallets. Troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the nail gun are also crucial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly during their shift.
