Overview: We're all about flexibility! Onsite/Hybrid strongly preferred but will consider a highly qualified remote candidate.
- Essential Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer commitment.
- Communicate intermediate account details to customers, focusing on resolving delinquent balances.
- Record call outcomes, including call dispositions, payment agreements, and action plans.
- Accurately calculate and explain fees, one-time charges, and recurring monthly costs.
- Analyze account status and history to identify billing discrepancies, take appropriate actions, and set up payment plans as needed.
- Negotiate with customers on each call to address and resolve delinquent balances.
- Efficiently navigate multiple computer systems and tools to apply information and provide solutions.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and client guidelines.
- Act as a product expert, explaining features and benefits of resolving payments.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
- Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with federal and state regulations.
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), HIPAA, and company security policies.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred..
- Experience in collections preferred..
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Travel is not required for this position.
