Dishwashing position!
Be part of a brand new fast-paced chaotic fine dining restaurant in the East Village. Small restaurant with a fun environment!
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized at all times
- Take out trash and clean kitchen floors
- Assist kitchen staff with cleaning and organization as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Dishwasher
- Motivated and self-directed
- Excellent time management
- Teamwork-oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices
Physical Aspects of the Dishwasher Role:
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
