The Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club is a beautiful and secluded member-owned country club with 36 holes of championship golf and 50 guest suites, rated as one of America's top golf resorts.
Ideal Candidate:
Lead and coach young swimmers in swimming. Create a fun and inviting learning environment to ensure a positive experience. Build strong relationships with participants and continually challenges them to the next level. Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique.
- Lead daily practices under the direction of the head coach.
- Attend and support swimmers at meets as needed.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to swim the competitive strokes of Free Style, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly.
- Ability to write and lead workouts.
- Ability to build relationship with members of all age.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner.
- Ability to tolerate loud noises.
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly.
- Self-starter, reliable, responsible, and dedicated.
- Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with all age groups, including children and teens.
REQUIREMENTS:
- One-year swim coaching experience (preferred).
- Swim lesson instruction experience (preferred)
- Safety training for Swim Coaches certification (preferred).
- First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms.
