Venteon Finance is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a leading supply chain/distribution company located in the Detroit area. This position will assist the CFO in responsibilities for the accounting and financial reporting functions for the company.
Requirements of the Accounting Manager
- Bachelor's degree or MBA in Accounting/Finance or closely related field.
- CPA Designation preferred
- 10 years total accounting experience; 2-4 years management experience.
- Sage Intacct experience
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
- Directs all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and inventory.
- Supervision of the accounting personnel.
- Responsible for the operational aspects of financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing of monthly Management Reporting Package
- Coordinates monthly closing process and ensures the capture of all financial transactions
- Assists CFO with respect to technical, tax and regulatory compliance matters.
